Total synthesis of (±)-coerulescine and (±)-horsfiline.

ABSTRACT: Wittig olefination-Claisen rearrangement protocol was applied to obtain 3-allyl oxindole. This oxindole was then converted to (±)-coerulescine and (±)-horsfiline.
