ABSTRACT: In the title compound, C(6)H(5)BrOS, the non-H and aromatic H atoms lie on a crystallographic mirror plane. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked into chains propagating along the c axis by inter-molecular C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds.
