ABSTRACT: The title compound, C(20)H(24)N(2)O(6), was obtained as an unexpected product by the reaction of hydrazinium dithio-carbazate with 2,3,4-trimeth-oxy-benzaldehyde in refluxing ethanol. The mol-ecule lies on a center of inversion. The crystal packing is stabilized by weak inter-molecular C-H⋯O inter-actions.
