ABSTRACT: In the cation of the title compound, C(24)H(27)N(2)O(4) (+)·H(2)PO(4) (-)·C(3)H(8)O [systematic name: 3-(9H-carbazol-4-yl-oxy)-2-hydr-oxy-N-[2-(2-methoxy-phen-oxy)eth-yl]propan-1-aminium dihydro-gen phosphate propan-2-ol solvate], the mean planes of the tricyclic carbazole system and the benzene ring form a dihedral angle of 42.00 (16)°. In the crystal structure, classical inter-molecular O-H⋯O and N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the cations, anions and solvent mol-ecules into layers parallel to the ac plane.

Project description:IN THE CATION OF THE TITLE COMPOUND [SYSTEMATIC NAME: 3-(9H-carbazol-4-yl-oxy)-2-hydr-oxy-N-[2-(2-methoxy-phen-oxy)eth-yl]propan-1-aminium dihydrogen phosphate hemihydrate], C(24)H(27)N(2)O(4) (+)·H(2)PO(4) (-)·0.5H(2)O, the mean planes of the tricyclic ring system and the benzene ring form a dihedral angle of 87.2 (2)°. In the crystal structure, the solvent water mol-ecule is situated on a twofold rotation axis linking two cations via O-H⋯O and N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds. The anions contribute to the formation O-H⋯O and N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds between the anions and cations, which consolidate the crystal packing.

Project description:In the crystal structure of the title compound, C(7)H(6)N(3)O(2) (+)·H(2)PO(4) (-)·C(7)H(5)N(3)O(2)·2H(2)O, the components are connected through O-H⋯O, N-H⋯O and O-H⋯N hydrogen-bonding inter-actions, forming a sheet-like structure parallel to (101). Adjacent sheets are further linked together by strong O-H⋯O hydrogen-bonds involving the dihydrogenphosphate groups. π-π stacking inter-actions between neighbouring aromatic constituents [centroid-centroid distance 3.653 (3) Å] help to consolidate the crystal packing.

Project description:THE TITLE COMPOUND [SYSTEMATIC NAME: (8S)-8-methyl-6,9-diaza-spiro-[4.5]decane-7,10-dione], C(9)H(14)N(2)O(2), consists of two connected rings, viz. a piperazine-2,5-dione (DKP) ring and a five-membered ring. The DKP ring adopts a slight boat conformation and the bonded methyl group is in an equatorial position. The five-membered ring is in an envelope conformation. In the crystal structure, inter-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds link mol-ecules into chains running parallel to the c axis.

Project description:The title mol-ecule, C19H18N4O2 {systematic name: (RS)-6-[2-(4-meth-oxy-phen-yl)-1H-benzimidazol-5-yl]-5-methyl-4,5-di-hydro-pyridazin-3(2H)-one}, adopts an extended conformation. The dihedral angles between the central benzimidazole ring sytem and the pendant meth-oxy-phenyl and pyridazinone residues are 1.41 (18) and 9.7 (3)°, respectively. In the crystal, N-H⋯N hydrogen bonds link the imadazole groups into [001] chains, and pairs of N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the pyridazinone groups into dimers. Together, these generate a two-dimensional supra-molecular structure parallel to (010). The layers are linked by C-H⋯π inter-actions.

Project description:Naltrexone [systematic name: 17-(cyclo-propyl-meth-yl)-3,14-di-hydroxy-4,5α-epoxymorphinan-6-one] is an opioid receptor competitive antagonist that has been widely used to prevent relapse in opioid- and alcohol-dependent subjects. Its chloride salt forms non-isomorphic solvates with ethanol (C20H24NO4+·Cl-·C2H5OH) (I), propan-2-ol (C20H24NO4+·Cl-·C3H7OH) (II), and 2-methyl-propan-2-ol (C20H24NO4+·Cl-·C4H9OH) (III). The naltrexone cation can be described as a T-shape made out of two ring systems, a tetra-hydro-2H-naphtho-[1,8-bc]furan system and a deca-hydro-isoquinolinium subunit, that are nearly perpendicular to one another. The flexible cyclo-propyl-methyl group can adopt various different conformations in response to its surroundings: an increase of available space around cyclo-propyl-methyl group may allow it to adopt a more favorable conformation. In all these structures, the alcohol mol-ecules occupy infinite solvent-filled channels. All three compounds described are attractive crystalline forms for unambiguous identification of naltrexone chloride after isolation from a pharmaceutical form. Compound (III) was refined as a two-component twin.

This group consists of an indole plane connected to a six-membered carbon ring adopting an envelope conformation and N-methyl-tetra-hydro-pyridine where the methyl group is in an equatorial position. In the crystal, inter-molecular N-H⋯O, O-H⋯N and O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds form an extensive three-dimensional hydrogen-bonding network, which holds the cations and anions together.

In 2CADHP, the dihydrogen phosphate anions form a double-stranded anionic chain generated parallel to the [010] direction through O-H...O hydrogen bonds, whereas in 4CADHP they form a two-dimensional supramolecular net extending parallel to the crystallographic (001) plane into which the cations are linked through strong N-H...O hydrogen bonds.

Project description:The title compound, C(15)H(16)O, crystallizes with two independent mol-ecules in the asymmetric unit. Due to the space-group symmetry, this results in the formation of a tetra-mer where the four mol-ecules are connected by O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds. The mol-ecules pack parallel to the c axis. Both mol-ecules in the asymmetric unit are nonplanar and the dihedral angles between connected aromatic rings in each mol-ecule are 7.96 (12) and 9.75 (13)°. This contrasts with the gas phase density functional theory (DFT) optimized conformation, where this dihedral angle is 39.33°.

In one diphenyl-methyl group, the two benzene rings are rotated by 65.0 (3)° with respect to each other, while in the other diphenyl-methyl group, the dihedral angle between the two benzene rings is 84.1 (3)°.
