ABSTRACT: The Zn(II) atom in the title compound, [ZnCl(2)(C(13)H(20)N(2)O(2))], is four-coordinated by the imine N and phenolate O atoms of the zwitterionic Schiff base ligand, and by two choride ions in a distorted tetra-hedral coordination. In the crystal structure, mol-ecules are linked through inter-molecular N-H⋯O and N-H⋯Cl hydrogen bonds along [010].
