ABSTRACT: The title Schiff base, C(14)H(10)BrClN(2)O(2), exists in a trans configuration with respect to the C=N bond and the dihedral angle between the two benzene rings is 0.8 (2)°. There is an intra-molecular O-H⋯N hydrogen bond in the mol-ecule, which generates an S(6) loop. In the crystal, inter-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds link adjacent mol-ecules into extended chains propagating along the c-axis direction.
