ABSTRACT: In the title salt, (C(20)H(26)N(2)O(2))[FeCl(4)]Cl·H(2)O, the Fe(III) atom exists in a tetra-hedral coordination environment. The cation, anions and water mol-ecules are linked by N-H⋯Cl, O-H⋯Cl and O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds into a layer network.
