ABSTRACT: In the title compound, C(12)H(9)BrN(2)OS, the dihedral angle between the aromatic rings is 10.0 (2)°. In the crystal structure, inversion dimers linked by pairs of N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds occur, generating R(2) (2)(8) loops. Weak aromatic π-π stacking [centroid-centroid separations = 3.825 (3) and 3.866 (3) Å] also occurs.
