ABSTRACT: The mol-ecule of the title compound, [Mn(NCS)(2)(C(16)H(18)N(4))], has crystallographic twofold rotation symmetry, with the Mn(II) atom lying on the rotation axis. The Mn(II) atom is six-coordinated by four N atoms of the Schiff base ligand and by two N atoms of two thio-cyanate ligands, forming a distorted octa-hedral geometry.
