ABSTRACT: In the title complex, [Cd(NO(2))(2)(C(17)H(14)N(4))], the Cd(II) ion assumes a distorted monocapped octa-hedral coordination geometry defined by an N(3)O(4) donor set. The crystal structure is stabilized by π-π stacking inter-actions [shortest centroid-centroid distance = 3.5537 (18) Å].
