In one independent anion, one nitro group is rotationally disordered over two orientations in a 0.657 (8):0.343 (8) ratio. In the crystal, inter-molecular N-H⋯O and O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds link all the components into ribbons extending along [100].

Project description:In the structure of the title salt, C(12)H(10)N(3)O(4) (+)·C(7)H(3)N(2)O(7) (-), the cations and the anions are linked by a single N(+)-H⋯O(carbox-yl) hydrogen bond, the discrete cation-anion unit having no inter-molecular associations other than weak cation-anion aromatic ring π-π inter-actions [ring centroid separation = 3.7320 (14) Å] and a number of weak inter-unit aromatic C-H⋯O contacts. An intramolecular C-H⋯O hydrox-yl-carboxyl hydrogen bond occurs in the anion.

Project description:The asymmetric unit of the title salt, 2C(2)H(8)NO(+)·C(8)H(4)O(4) (2-), comprises one crystallographically independent 2-hy-droxy-ethanaminium cation and one half terephthalate anion. In the crystal, hydrogen bonds involving the hy-droxy and ammonium groups of the cations and the carboxyl-ate O atoms of the terephthalate anions result in the formation of a three-dimensional network structure.

Project description:In the title hydrated mol-ecular salt, C6H16NO(+)·C10H5N4O7 (-)·1.5H2O [systematic name: N,N-diethyl-2-hy-droxy-ethan-am-in-ium 5-(2,4-di-nitro-phen-yl)-2,6-di-oxo-1,2,3,6-tetra-hydro-pyrim-idin-4-olate sesquihydrate], the dihedral angle between the six-membered rings in the anion is 37.66 (11)°. The nitro groups ortho and para to the ring junction are rotated from their attached ring by 40.8 (3) and 23.5 (3)°, respectively. The ethanol group is disordered over two of the 'arms' of the cation in a statistical ratio. In the crystal, [010] chains of anions occur, linked by N-H⋯O and O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, which generate R 2 (2)(8) loops. Further N-H⋯O and O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the components into a three-dimensional network. One of the water O atoms lies near an inversion centre and is 50% occupied.

Project description:In the cation of the title compound C9H14ON(+)·C3H2O3N3 (-), the benzyl-amine C-N bond subtends a dihedral angle of 78.3 (2)° with the phenyl ring. The cyanurate anion is in the usual keto-form and shows an r.m.s. deviation from planarity of 0.010 Å. In the crystal, the cyanurate anions form N-H⋯O hydrogen-bonded zigzag ribbons along [001]. These ribbons are crosslinked by the organocations via O-H⋯N and N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming bilayers parallel to (010) which are held together along [010] by slipped π-π inter-actions between pairs of cyanurate anions [shortest contact distances C⋯C = 3.479 (2), O⋯N = 3.400 (2); centroid-centroid distance= 4.5946 (9) Å] and between cyanurate and phenyl rings [centroid-centroid distance = 3.7924 (12) Å, ring-ring angle = 11.99 (10)°].

An intra-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bond formed between the iminium N and the phenolate O atom generates an S(6) ring motif. In the crystal, the mol-ecules are linked through O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds into chains along [110]. Two neighbouring chains are further connected through O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds in an anti-parallel manner. π-π inter-actions are also observed, with centroid-centroid distances of 3.7115 (19) and 3.743 (2) Å.
