ABSTRACT: In the title compound, C(19)H(13)NO(2), the pyridyl ring makes a dihedral angle of 87.04 (6)° with the plane of the phenanthrene ring system. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked through weak inter-molecular C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds and C-H⋯π inter-actions.
