ABSTRACT: The asymmetric unit of the title complex, [Ni(NCS)(2)(C(13)H(20)N(2)O(2))(2)], consists of two half-mol-ecules, both of which are completed by crystallographic inversion symmetry (Ni(2+) site symmetry = in both cases). Both metal ions are six-coordinated in distorted trans-NiO(2)N(4) geometries arising from two N,O-bidentate Schiff base ligands and two N-bonded thio-cyanate ions. The mol-ecular conformations are reinforced by two intra-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds.
