ABSTRACT: In the title compound, [ReBr(C(12)H(9)ClN(2))(CO)(3)], the Re(I) atom has a distorted octa-hedral configuration with the three carbonyl ligands showing a facial arrangement. The main distortion of the octa-hedron is due to a small bite angle of the chelating bidentate diimine ligand [N-Re-N = 75.3 (3)°].
