ABSTRACT: In the title compound, [Ni(NO(3))(2)(C(24)H(20)N(2))(2)], the Ni(II) atom has a distorted pseudo-octa-hedral coordination geometry defined by two chelating nitrate groups and two pyridine N atoms of the monodentate N-(triphenyl-meth-yl)pyridin-2-amine ligands. Intra-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds help to establish the configuration.
