ABSTRACT: In the crystal structure of the title monohydrate salt, [ZnCl(C(12)H(8)N(2))(2)][BiCl(4)(C(12)H(8)N(2))]·H(2)O, the ionic components are linked into three-dimensional supra-molecular channels by five pairs of C-H⋯Cl hydrogen bonds and π-π stacking inter-actions with an inter-planar distance of 3.643 (2) Å. The solvent water mol-ecules are lodged in the channels.
