Korean species of Aleochara Gravenhorst subgenus Xenochara Mulsant & Rey (Coleoptera, Staphylinidae, Aleocharinae).

ABSTRACT: A taxonomic review of Aleochara Gravenhorst subgenus Xenochara Mulsant & Rey in Korea is presented. Five species are recognized, with one species, Aleochara (Baryodma) intricata Mannerheim, newly transferred to the subgenus Xenochara. Aleochara (Xenochara) asiatica Kraatz and Aleochara (Xenochara) peninsulae Bernhauer are reported for the first time in the Korean peninsula. A key, line drawings of diagnostic characters, and redescriptions of Korean Xenochara species are provided.
