ABSTRACT: In the crystal structure of the title compound, C(13)H(9)ClN(2)O(5)S, the N-H bond is trans to the C=O bond (H-N-C-O torsion angle = 158.4°). The dihedral angle between the two aromatic rings is 87.8 (1)°. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked into chains along the b axis via N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds.
