ABSTRACT: In the title compound, C(15)H(12)O(2), the dihedral angle between the aromatic ring systems is 16.67 (6)°. The methyl C atom is almost coplanar with its attached benzene ring [displacement = 0.020 (2) Å]. In the crystal, the mol-ecules are connected by weak C-H⋯O bonds and face-to-edge C-H⋯π inter-actions between the 2-meth-oxy-phenyl rings.
