ABSTRACT: The title compound, C(22)H(22)BNO(3), was unintentionally obtained from salicyl-aldehyde benzyl-amine and sodium borohydride. The B-O bond lengths lie in the range 1.425 (2)-1.463 (2) Å, and B-N = 1.641 (2) Å. In the crystal, weak inter-molecular C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the mol-ecules into chains in the [010] direction.
