ABSTRACT: In the title compound, C(11)H(14)BrN(2) (+)·NO(3) (-), inter-molecular N-H⋯O and N-H⋯N hydrogen bonds link the proton-ated 5-bromo-gramine cation and the nitrate anions. Further N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the cation-anion pairs into a chain running parallel to [100]. C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the chains, forming a layer parallel to (001).
