In the crystal, O-H⋯O, N-H⋯O and C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds connect the ions and mol-ecules, forming a three-dimensional network.

Project description:The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C(5)H(7)N(2) (+)·C(7)H(4)NO(4) (-)·C(7)H(5)NO(4), consists of an amino-pyridinium cation, a 4-nitro-benzoate anion and a neutral 4-nitro-benzoic acid mol-ecule. The pyridine ring forms dihedral angles of 64.70 (5)° and 70.37 (5)°, respectively, with the benzene rings of 4-nitro-benzoic acid and 4-nitro-benzoate. In the crystal structure, the cations, anions and the neutral 4-nitro-benzoic acid mol-ecules are linked by O-H⋯O and N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming a two-dimensional network parallel to (001). Adjacent networks are cross-linked via C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds and π-π stacking inter-actions [centroid-centroid distances 3.6339 (6) and 3.6566 (6) Å].

Project description:In the title compound, C(5)H(8)N(3) (+)·C(7)H(4)NO(4) (-)·C(7)H(5)NO(4), the non-H atoms of the 3,4-diamino-pyridinium cation are coplanar, with a maximum deviation of 0.022 (1) Å. The carboxyl-ate and nitro groups of the 4-nitro-benzoate anion are twisted out of the attached ring planes by dihedral angles of 15.89 (8) and 10.20 (8)°, respectively. In the 4-nitro-benzoic acid mol-ecule, the carboxyl and nitro groups form dihedral angles of 18.25 (8) and 6.55 (8)°, respectively, with the benzene ring. In the crystal, the constituent units form two-dimensional networks parallel to (001) by O-H⋯O, N--H⋯O and C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds. Weak π-π inter-actions involving inversion-related 4-nitro-benzoic acid mol-ecules [centroid-centroid distance = 3.7325 (8) Å] and inversion-related 4-nitro-benzoate mol-ecules [centroid-centroid distance = 3.7124 (8) Å] are also observed.

Project description:In the title compound, (C(8)H(12)N)(2)[ZnBr(4)], the coordination geometry of the anion is approximately tetra-hedral. The Zn-Br bond lengths range from 2.3901 (19) to 2.449 (2) Å and the Br-Zn-Br angles range from 107.09 (8) to 112.48 (8)°. In the crystal, each [ZnBr(4)](2-) anion is connected to four cations through two N-H⋯Br and two C-H⋯Br hydrogen bonds, forming two-dimensional ⋯(cation)(2)⋯anion⋯(cation(2))⋯ sheets parallel to the bc plane. Within each sheet, the anions are arranged in stacks with no significant inter-anion Br⋯Br inter-actions [the shortest being > 4.3 Å], while the cations are in chains, with weak π-π stacking inter-actions [centroid-centroid distance = 3.991 Å] between cations inter-acting with the same anion.

Project description:The asymmetric unit of the title compound, (C(8)H(12)N)(2)[PtCl(6)], contains one independent protonated 2,4,6-trimethyl-pyridinium cation and one half of a centrosymmetric [PtCl(6)](2-) anion. The Pt ion has an almost ideal octa-hedral coordination. In the crystal structure, intra-molecular N-H⋯Cl and inter-molecular C-H⋯Cl hydrogen bonds result in the formation of a supra-molecular structure.

Project description:In the title salt, C(5)H(8)N(3) (+)·C(7)H(4)NO(4) (-), the pyridine N atom of the 2,3-diamino-pyridine mol-ecule is protonated. The protonated N atom and one of the two 2-amino groups are hydrogen bonded to the 4-nitro-benzoate anion through a pair of N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming an R(2) (2)(8) ring motif. The carboxyl-ate mean plane of the 4-nitro-benzoate anion is twisted by 3.77 (5)° from the attached ring and the nitro group is similarly twisted by 2.28 (10)°. In the crystal, the mol-ecules are linked by N-H⋯O and C-H⋯O inter-actions into sheets parallel to (100).

Project description:In the title benzoate derivative, C13H6BrN3O8, the benzene rings form a dihedral angle of 80.90 (9)°. The ester moiety forms dihedral angles of 3.2 (2) and 82.8 4(10)° with the benzene and picryl rings, respectively. The Br atom is disordered over two positions, with the site occupancy for the minor component being 0.48 (4). The crystal structure features C-H⋯O inter-actions, which generate a three-dimensional network.
