ABSTRACT: In the title compound, (C(11)H(18)N(4))[Ni(C(4)N(2)S(2))(2)], the asymmetric contains one half-complex, with the cation placed on a twofold axis and the anion located on an inversion center. The Ni(II) ion in the anion is coordinated by four S atoms of two maleonitrile-dithiol-ate ligands, and exhibits the expected square-planar coordination geometry.
