A new Zanclognatha from eastern North America and a preliminary key to the larvae of the genus (Lepidoptera, Erebidae, Herminiinae).

ABSTRACT: The adult of a widespread but previously undescribed species of Zanclognatha Lederer is described from eastern North America. Images of the mature larva and life history datafor Zanclognathadentatasp. n. are included, along with a preliminary key to the larvae of ten eastern North American Zanclognatha species.
