Poly[(μ(4)-benzene-1,3,5-tricarboxyl-ato)bis-(N,N-dimethyl-acetamide)-terbium(III)].

ABSTRACT: The title compound, [Tb(C(9)H(3)O(6))(C(4)H(9)NO)(2)], shows a rare-earth three-dimensional metal-organic framework structure. In this complex of an eight-coordinated Tb(3+) ion, the asymmetric unit contains one benzene-1,3,5-tricarb-oxy-lic ligand and two coordinated dimethyl-acetamide mol-ecules. Each Tb(3+) ion is coordinated by six O atoms from four carboxyl-ate groups of the benzene-1,3,5-tricarb-oxy-lic ligands and two O atoms from two terminal dimethyl-acetamide mol-ecules.
