ABSTRACT: The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C(14)H(16)ClNO, contains two independent mol-ecules, both with the cyclo-hexene ring in a sofa conformation. In the crystal, N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the mol-ecules related by translation along the a axis into two crystallographically independent chains. Weak C-H⋯π inter-actions are also observed.
