ABSTRACT: In the title curcumin-ionone derivative, C(18)H(22)OS, the dihedral angle between the thia-zole ring and the mean plane through the cyclo-hexene ring is 5.16 (10)°. The mol-ecule has an E conformation for each of the olefinic bonds.
