ABSTRACT: In the title mol-ecular salt, C(3)H(8)N(+)·C(7)H(4)IO(2) (-), the cyclo-propanaminium cation forms three hydrogen bonds to the 4-iodo-benzoate anion, forming two unique repeating R(4) (4)(12) hydrogen-bonding rings that result in one-dimensional hydrogen-bonded columns along the crystallographic c axis.
