ABSTRACT: In the title mol-ecule, C(8)H(12)N(2)O(2)S, the imidazole ring forms a dihedral angle of 5.9 (2)° with the mean plane of the carboxyl-ate group. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by pairs of N-H⋯S hydrogen bonds, forming inversion dimers.
