ABSTRACT: IN THE TITLE COMPOUND (COMMON NAME: iodiconazole), C(19)H(19)F(2)IN(4)O, there is an intra-molecular O-H⋯N hydrogen bond and mol-ecules are linked by weak inter-actions only, namely C-H⋯N, C-H⋯O and C-H⋯F hydrogen bonds, and π-electron ring-π-electron ring inter-actions between the triazole rings with centroid-centroid distances of 3.725 (3) Å.

Project description:In the mol-ecule of the title compound, C(17)H(17)N(3)O(3), the triazole ring is oriented at dihedral angles of 88.09 (3) and 83.72 (3)° with respect to the 2-methoxy-benzyl and 2-methoxy-phenyl rings, respectively. The dihedral angle between the 2-methoxy-benzyl and 2-methoxy-phenyl rings is 52.95 (3)°. In the crystal structure, inter-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the mol-ecules into centrosymmetric dimers. There is a π-π contact between the 2-methoxy-phenyl rings [centroid-centroid distance = 3.811 (3) Å].

Project description:The title compound, C(15)H(16)O, crystallizes with two independent mol-ecules in the asymmetric unit. Due to the space-group symmetry, this results in the formation of a tetra-mer where the four mol-ecules are connected by O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds. The mol-ecules pack parallel to the c axis. Both mol-ecules in the asymmetric unit are nonplanar and the dihedral angles between connected aromatic rings in each mol-ecule are 7.96 (12) and 9.75 (13)°. This contrasts with the gas phase density functional theory (DFT) optimized conformation, where this dihedral angle is 39.33°.

Project description:The title complex, [Cu(2)(C(13)H(11)F(2)N(6)O)(2)](ClO(4))(2), which was hydro-thermally synthesized, contains a binuclear copper cluster (2 symmetry) with a Cu(2)O(2) rhombus [Cu-O = 1.927 (2) Å] formed by donation of two O atoms from two chelate rings. The tridentate function of each ligand is completed by two N atoms coordinated to the two Cu(II) atoms [Cu-N = 1.933 (2) Å]. The separation distance of two Cu(II) atoms in a cluster is 2.988 (1) Å. The dihedral angle between the six-membered chelate rings is 2.13 (9)°. The perchlorate counter-anion is disordered over two sites in a 0.58 (10):0.42 (10) ratio.

The morpholine ring displays a chair conformation. The propan-2-ol solvent mol-ecule links with the benzimidazole ring via an O-H⋯N hydrogen bond. In the crystal, weak inter-molecular C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the mol-ecules into inversion dimers with an R 2 (2)(28) motif. π-π stacking occurs between the parallel chloro-benzene rings [centroid-centroid distance = 3.792 (1) Å]. Weak C-H⋯π inter-actions and short Cl⋯Cl [3.2037 (10) Å] contacts are also observed.

Project description:In the title compound, C(24)H(20)BrF(2)N(3)O(3)S, the triazole ring (r.m.s. deviation = 0.0107 Å) makes dihedral angles of 28.18 (14), 63.76 (14) and 77.01 (18)°, respectively, with the trimeth-oxy-, bromo-, and difluoro-substituted benzene rings. The C atoms of the meta meth-oxy groups are roughly coplanar with their ring [displacements = -0.289 (4) and 0.083 (7) Å], whereas the C atom of the para group is displaced [1.117 (3) Å]. In the crystal, inversion dimers linked by two pairs of C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds occur. The ring motif of the two hydrogen bonds to their symmetry-generated O-atom acceptors is R(2) (2)(8).
