ABSTRACT: In the title compound, [Pd(C11H13ClN)Cl(C8H7N)], which crystallized in the chiral space group P212121, the Pd(II) atom is coordinated by two C atoms, a Csp(2) atom of the 2-chloro-3-dimethyl-amino-1-phenyl-prop-1-en-1-yl ligand and a Csp atom from the benzyl isocyanide ligand, as well as an N atom of the ligand and a Cl atom, in a square-planar geometry. In the complex, there is a short C-H?Cl hydrogen bond and a C-H?? inter-action. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked via C-H?Cl hydrogen bonds, forming chains along the a-axis direction.

Project description:In the title compound, [Pd(C(9)H(12)N)Cl(C(4)H(6)N(2))], which was synthesized from the reaction of 1-methyl-imidazole with dimeric dichloridobis[2-(dimethyl-amino)-benz-yl]palla-dium(II), the ring-deprotonated N,N-dimethyl-benzyl-amine ligand acts in a C,N-bidentate fashion. The dihedral angle between the ring of the 1-methyl-imidazole ligand and the palladacycle plane is 57.88 (16)°. The two N atoms from the N,N-dimethyl-benzyl-amine and 1-methyl-imidazole ligands are trans coordinated to the Pd(II) atom.

The Ru(III) atom is octa-hedrally coordinated by four Cl atoms in the equatorial plane, and by a dimethyl sulfoxide O atom and a nitrosyl N atom in axial positions. Project description:The title compound, [Pd(2)(C(11)H(14)NO)(2)Cl(2)], has a dimeric structure with Cl atoms bridging the two Pd atoms, one half of the mol-ecule being generated by symmetry due to the crystallographic inversion centre located in the middle of the perfectly planar Pd(2)Cl(2) ring. The five-membered ring adopts an envelope conformation, while the morpholino group has a chair conformation. The geometry around the metal centres is distorted square-planar, as a result of a strong intra-molecular N→Pd coordination trans to a Pd-Cl bond. In the crystal structure, the dimeric structure is strengthened by inter-molecular C-H⋯Cl hydrogen bonds. C-H⋯C(phen-yl) inter-actions link the dimers into a columnar supra-molecular array along the a axis; the dimers are further connected by C-H⋯Ph inter-actions into a three-dimensional supra-molecular arrangement.
