ABSTRACT: In the title complex, [Zn(N3)2(C7H10N2)2], the Zn(II) atom is coordinated by two N atoms from two 4-(dimethyl-amino)-pyridine (DMAP) ligands and by two N atoms from two azide anions in a distorted tetra-hedral coordination geometry. In the crystal, weak C-H⋯N hydrogen bonds between the DMAP and azide ligands link these discrete complex mol-ecules into a three-dimensional supra-molecular network.
