Bis(?-diisopropyl-hydoxylaminato)-?(2) O:N;?(2) O:O-bis-[(diisopropyl-hydoxylaminato-?O)beryllium].

ABSTRACT: The title compound, [Be2(C6H14NO)4], was prepared from a solution of BeCl2 in diethyl ether and two equivalents of O-lithia-ted N,N-diisopropyl-hydoxyl-amine. The mol-ecular structure is composed of a dinuclear unit forming a central five-membered planar Be-O-Be-O-N ring (sum of inter-nal angles = 540.0°; r.m.s. deviation from planarity = 0.0087?Å). Both Be atoms show the unusual coordination number of three, with one Be atom coordinated by three O atoms and the other by two O atoms and one N atom, both in distorted trigonal-planar environments. The Be-O distances are in the range 1.493?(5)-1.600?(5)?Å and the Be-N distance is 1.741?(5)?Å.

Project description:The neutral N-heterocycle in the title centrosymmetric dinuclear compound, [Ag(2)(NO(3))(2)(C(8)H(15)N(3))(2)], bridges two metal atoms through its imino N atoms. The N-Ag-N skeleton is bent [N-Ag-N = 127.2 (3)°]; as one of two O atoms of the nitrate anion is nearly coplanar with this N-Ag-N skeleton [Ag-O = 2.63 (1) Å], the coordination geometry around the Ag(I) atom is regarded as trigonal-planar. One of the two isopropyl groups is disordered over two positions in respect of the methyl groups in a 1:1 ratio. In the crystal structure, inter-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bonding is observed between the nitrate groups and triazole ligands.

Project description:In the centrosymmetric mol-ecular structure of the title compound [Pt(2)(C(6)H(14)P)(2)H(2)(C(9)H(21)P)(2)], each Pt(II) atom is bound on one side to a phosphane ligand (PiPr(3)) and a hydrido ligand. On the other side, it is bound to two phosphanide ligands (μ-PiPr(2)), which engage a bridging position between the two Pt(II) atoms, forming a distorted square-planar structure motif. The Pt⋯Pt distance is 3.6755 (2) Å. A comparable mol-ecular structure was observed for bis-(μ-di-tert-butyl-phosphanido)bis-[hydrido(triethyl-phosphane)platinum(II)] [Itazaki et al. (2004 ▶). Project description:In the title compound, [Co2(SO4)2(C10H8N2)2(C2H6O2)2(H2O)2] n , there are two crystallographically independent Co(II) ions, each of which lies on a twofold rotation axis and has a slightly distorted octa-hedral environment. One Co(II) ion is coordinated by two N atoms from two bridging 4,4'-bipyridine (4,4'-bipy) ligands, two O atoms from two sulfate ions and two O atoms from aqua ligands. The second Co(II) ion is similar but with ethane-1,2-diol ligands in place of water mol-ecules. The sulfate anions act as bridging ligands to link two adjacent Co(II) ions together, leading to the formation of linear ⋯Co1Co2Co1Co2⋯chains along the a axis. Adjacent chains are further bridged by 4,4'-bipy ligands, which are also located on the twofold rotation axis, resulting in a two-dimensional layered polymer extending parallel to (001). In the crystal, the layers are linked by extensive O-H⋯O hydrogen-bonding inter-actions involving the O atoms of the water mol-ecules and ethane-1,2-diol mol-ecules, resulting in a three-dimensional supra-molecular network.

Project description:The binuclear title complex, [Zn2(C33H33N6O)(CH3COO2)(CH3OH)](ClO4)2, was synthesized by the reaction between 2,6-bis-({[bis-(pyridin-2-yl)meth-yl]amino}-meth-yl)-4-methyl-phenol (H-BPMP), Zn(OAc)2 and NaClO4. The two Zn(II) ions are bridged by the phenolate O atom of the octadentate ligand and the acetate group. An additional methanol ligand is terminally coordinated to one of the Zn(II) ions, rendering the whole structure unsymmetric. Other symmetric dizinc complexes of BPMP have been reported. However, to the best of our knowledge, the present structure, in which the two Zn(II) ions are distinguishable by the number of coordinating ligands and the coordination geometries (octahedral and square-pyramidal), is unique. The dizinc complex is a dication, and two perchlorate anions balance the charge. The -OH group of the coordinating methanol solvent mol-ecule forms a hydrogen bond with a perchlorate counter-anion. One of the anions is disordered over two sets of sites with an occupancy ratio of 0.734 (2):0.266 (2).

Project description:The complete molecule of the title compound, [Cu2(C2H3O2)2(CF3O3S)2(C12H8N2)2], is completed by the application of a twofold rotation and comprises two Cu(II) ions, each of which is penta-coordinated by two N atoms from a bidentate 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) ligand, two O atoms from acetate ligands and an O atom from a tri-fluoro-methane-sulfonate anion, forming a (4 + 1) distorted square-pyramidal coordination geometry. The Cu(II) ions are connected by two acetate bridges in a syn-syn configuration. The F atoms of the tri-fluoro-methane-sulfonate ligands are disordered, with site-occupation factors of 70 and 30. The molecular structure is stabilized by intra-molecular face-to-face π-π inter-actions with centroid-centroid distances in the range 3.5654 (12)-3.8775(12) Å. The crystal structure is stabilized by C-H⋯O interactions, leading to a three-dimensional lattice structure.
