Tetra-kis(triphenyl-phosphane-?P)silver(I) trifluoro-acetate ethanol monosolvate.

ABSTRACT: In the title solvated salt, [Ag(C18H15P)4](CF3CO2)·C2H5OH, the Ag(I) atom is coordinated by four P atoms from triphenyl-phosphane ligands in a distorted tetra-hedral geometry. The anion and solvent are engaged in weak O-H?O hydrogen bonds. Of the four triphenyl-phosphane ligands, two each have an equally disordered phenyl ring while the Ag(I) atom is disordered over two positions in a 0.9595?(15):0.0405?(15) ratio and the trifluoro-acetate anion is equally disordered over two positions with respect to the lattice ethanol mol-ecule.

Project description:The Ag(I) atom in the title hydrated solvated salt, [Ag(C18H15As)4](CF3CO2)·0.5CH3OH·0.5H2O, is coordinated by four As atoms from triphenyl-arsane ligands in a distorted tetra-hedral geometry. In the crystal, O-H?O hydrogen bonding occurs between carboxyl-ate groups of anions and lattice solvent mol-ecules. Of the four triphenyl-arsane ligands in the Ag complex cation, two each have an equally disordered phenyl ring while the trifluoro-acetate anion is disordered over two positions with respect to the lattice methanol and water mol-ecules which both show half-occupyncy. The crystal studied was a non-merohedral twin with a 13.6?(1)% contribution of the minor twin component.

Project description:The title complex, [Ag(C(18)H(15)P)(4)]BF(4), was prepared by the reaction of silver(I) tetra-fluorido-borate and triphenyl-phosphane in the presence of 1,2-bis-(pyridin-2-yl)ethyl-ene. The Ag(I) atom is tetra-hedrally coordinated by four P atoms from triphenyl-phosphane (PPh(3)) ligands. Due to symmetry, the tetra-fluorido-borate anion is disordered over three positions (each with one third occupancy). The tetra-fluorido-borate anion does not coordinate to the Ag(I) atom.

Project description:In the title compound, [AgBr(C(18)H(15)P)(3)]·C(2)H(3)N·H(2)O, the coordination of the Ag atom is close to ideal tetra-hedral, with the three Ag-P bond lengths almost equal [2.5441 (10), 2.5523 (9) and 2.5647 (10) ° A] and the Ag-Br bond slightly longer [2.7242 (5) Å]. The coordination tetra-hedron is slightly flattened, the Ag atom is closer to the PPP plane; the P-Ag-P angles are wider than the Br-Ag-P angles. The voids in the crystal structure are filled with ordered acetonitrile solvent mol-ecules. The remaining electron density was inter-preted as a water mol-ecule, disordered over three alternative positions. Neither of the solvent mol-ecules is connected by any directional specific inter-actions with the complex.

Project description:In the title compound, [{[(C6H5)3P]Ag}4{NCO}4], a distorted Ag4N4-heterocubane core is set up by four Ag(I) ions being coordinated by the N atoms of the cyanato anions in a μ 3-bridging mode. In addition, a tri-phenyl-phosphine ligand is datively bonded to each of the Ag(I) ions. Intra-molecular Ag⋯Ag distances as short as 3.133 (9) Å suggest the presence of argentophilic (d (10)⋯d (10)) inter-actions. Five moderate-to-weak C-H⋯O hydrogen-bonding inter-actions are observed in the crystal structure, spanning a three-dimensional network. A region of electron density was treated with the SQUEEZE procedure in PLATON [Spek (2015). Acta Cryst. C71, 9-18] following unsuccessful attempts to model it as being part of disordered tetra-hydro-furan solvent mol-ecules. The given chemical formula and other crystal data do not take into account these solvent mol-ecules.

Project description:In the title compound, [Ir(C(18)H(15)P)(2)(CO)(3)]PF(6)·CH(3)OH, the Ir(I) atom is coordinated by two triphenyl-phosphine ligands in axial sites and three carbonyl ligands in the equatorial plane of a fairly regular trigonal bipyramid: the equatorial C-Ir-C angles range from 115.45 (9) to 126.42 (10)°. The small deviations from the ideal tetra-hedral geometry around the P atoms are illustrated by C-P-C angles ranging from 104.08 (9) to 106.46 (9)°. In the crystal, the mol-ecules are linked by weak C-H⋯F, C-H⋯O and C-H⋯π inter-actions.

Project description:In the tetra-nuclear mol-ecule of the title compound, [Ag4(C9H10O4)2(C18H15P)4], the Ag(I) ion is coordinated by one P and three O atoms in a considerably distorted tetra-hedral environment. The two 2,2-di-allyl-malonate anions bridge four Ag(I) ions in a μ4-(κ(6) O (1),O (3):O (3):O (1'),O (3'):O (1')) mode, setting up an Ag4O8P4 core (point group symmetry -4..) of corner-sharing tetra-hedra. The shortest intra-molecular Ag⋯Ag distance of 3.9510 (3) Å reveals that no direct d (10)⋯d (10) inter-actions are present. Four weak intra-molecular C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds are observed in the crystal structure of the title compound, which most likely stabilize the tetra-nuclear silver core.

Project description:In the crystal structure of the title compound, [Cu(C(18)H(15)As)(4)]PF(6), the Cu atom is coordinated by four As atoms of triphenyl-arsine ligands in a tetra-hedral geometry. The complex cation is located on a crystallographic threefold axis. Both PF(6) (-) anions are located on special positions of site symmetry . The Cu-As bond of the independent arsine ligand is shorter than the Cu-As bonds of the three symmetry-related arsine ligands.
