One new and seven newly recorded Callichromatini species from China (Coleoptera, Cerambycidae, Cerambycinae).

ABSTRACT: One new species, Schwarzerium yunnanum sp. n. is described from Yunnan Province, China. And a new subgenus Rugosochroma subgen. n. is erected for it. Additionally, Seven species of the tribe Callichromatini are newly recorded from China: Aphrodisium niisatoi Vives & Bentanachs, 2007, Aphrodisium tricoloripes Pic, 1925, Chelidonium violaceimembris Gressitt & Rondon, 1970 (new from Vietnam too), Chloridolum grossepunctatum Gressitt & Rondon, 1970 (new from Vietnam too), Chloridolum semipunctatum Gressit & Rondon 1970, Embrikstrandia vivesi Bentanachs, 2005 and Laosaphrodisium subplicatum (Pic, 1937).

Project description:Chlorophorusfainanensis Pic, 1918 is redescribed. Four species, C.coniperda Holzschuh, 1992, C.diversicolor Holzschuh, 2016, C.orbatus Holzschuh, 1991 and C.pinguis Holzschuh, 1992 are newly reported from China. A new synonymy, Chlorophorusarciferus (Chevrolat, 1863) = Chlorophorussemisinuatus Pic, 1949, syn. nov. is proposed.

Project description:BackgroundDespite the recent advancement of faunal research of longhorned beetles in South Korea, the number of tribes of Cerambycinae has remained at 16 during the last 40 years.New informationIn this paper, two cerambycine tribes, Stenopterini Gistel, 1848 and Thraniini Gahan, 1906, are reported for the first time in Korea by species Merionoeda (Macromolorchus) hirsuta (Mitono & Nishimura, 1936) and Thraniusvariegatus Bates, 1873, respectively. Morphological comments, biological observations and illustrations of both species are provided. An updated key to tribes of Korean cerambycinae is also provided.

Myrmica forcipata Karawaiew, 1931 is recorded from China for the first time, while Myrmica zhengi Ma & Xu, 2011 is synonymized with Myrmica luteola Kupyanskaya, 1990. Identification keys based on worker caste are provided to the Myrmica species of China and the pachei-group species of the Old World, respectively.

Project description:Lasiochira wuzhishanensis Yin, sp. nov. is described herein from the island province of Hainan, China. It is diagnosed from a similar species, Lasiochira jianfengensis Yin, Wang & Park, 2014. Both species are sympatric in Hainan province, but the latter is also known in northern Vietnam. Lasiochira pallidiptera Yin, Wang & Park, 2014 is recorded for the first time from China. Color images of the adults and genitalia of the above three species are provided. In addition, a checklist and a geographical distribution map of all species of Lasiochira Meyrick are included.
