ABSTRACT: In the centrosymmetric binuclear title complex, [Ag2(NO3)2(C11H8Cl2N4)2]·2CH3CN, the Ag(I) atom is four-coordinated and exhibits a highly distorted tetrahedral coordination sphere defined by three N atoms from two 1-(3,5-di-chloro-pyridin-2-yl)-2-(pyridin-3-yl-methyl-idene)hy-drazine ligands and one O atom from a nitrate anion. Inter-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the complex mol-ecules, resulting in a two-dimensional supra-molecular structure parallel to (001).
