Silver-catalyzed vinylogous fluorination of vinyl diazoacetates.

ABSTRACT: A silver-catalyzed vinylogous fluorination of vinyl diazoacetates to generate γ-fluoro-α,β-unsaturated carbonyls is presented. Application of this method to the fluorination of farnesol and steroid derivatives was achieved.
