ABSTRACT: In the title compound, C11H8N2O2S, the oxadiazinone ring is nearly planar [maximum deviation = 0.016 (4) Å], and is approximately coplanar with the benzo-thio-phene ring system [dihedral angle = 3.1 (5)°]. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming chains running along the b-axis direction.
