A refined concept of the Critoniopsisbogotana species group in Colombia with two new species (Vernonieae, Asteraceae).

ABSTRACT: Critoniopsisbogotana is more precisely delimited, and two related Colombian species are described as new. The form of trichomes on the abaxial surfaces of the leaves is found to be of major importance. A short key to the Critoniopsisbogotana group is provided.
