Mineralization defects in cementum and craniofacial bone from loss of bone sialoprotein.

ABSTRACT: Bone sialoprotein (BSP) is a multifunctional extracellular matrix protein found in mineralized tissues, including bone, cartilage, tooth root cementum (both acellular and cellular types), and dentin.
