ABSTRACT: In the title compound, C8H7FO2S, the thio-phene ring has an envelope conformation, with the S atom bearing the two O atoms being the flap. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by C-H⋯O and C-H⋯F inter-actions, generating a three-dimensional network structure.
