ABSTRACT: Purpose: Dysregulated expression of miRNAs has emerged as a hallmark feature in human cancers. Exportin-5 (XPO5), a karyopherin family member, is a key protein responsible for transporting precursor miRNAs from the nucleus to the cytoplasm.
