Defects in the DNA damage response (DDR) are associated with multiple diseases, including cancers and neurodegenerative disorders. Emerging evidence indicates involvement of RNA-binding proteins (RBPs) in DDR. However, functions of RBPs in the DDR pathway remain elusive.
