Purpose

This pooled analysis aims to evaluate the efficacy of epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR)-tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) in lung squamous cell carcinoma with EGFR mutation.

Methods

Advanced stage (IIIB/IV) lung squamous cell carcinoma patients with EGFR mutations treated with EGFR-TKIs were extracted from the publications searched from the databases of EMBASE, Medline (Ovid SP), Web of Science, Cochrane library, PubMed Publisher, ASCO meeting abstract and Google Scholar before August 2016, or identified from the database of Shanghai Chest Hospital from July 2014 to August 2016.
