Widespread alternative polyadenylation (APA) occurs during enhanced cellular proliferation and transformation. Recently, we demonstrated that CFIm25-mediated 3' UTR shortening through APA promotes glioblastoma tumor growth in vitro and in vivo, further underscoring its significance to tumorigenesis.
