Two new species of the purse-web spider genus Atypus Latreille, 1804 from Hainan Island, China (Araneae, Atypidae).

ABSTRACT: Two species of the purse-web spider genus Atypus Latreille, 1804 collected from Hainan Island, China, are diagnosed and described as new to science based on genital morphology, A. baotingensissp. n. (♂♀) and A. jianfengensissp. n. (♀). The DNA barcodes of the two species are also provided for future use.
