Biology of Eumacronychia Townsend, with a redescription of E.persolla Reinhard, 1965 (Diptera, Sarcophagidae).

ABSTRACT: The biology of Eumacronychia Townsend is reviewed and Eumacronychiapersolla Reinhard, 1965 is redescribed. The male and female habitus as well as the male terminalia are documented with focus-stacked photographs, and features separating this species from all other species of Eumacronychia are discussed.
