One generic synonym and one new species of Phlaeothripidae from India (Thysanoptera).

ABSTRACT: Haplothripsshivendraii Tyagi & Kumar, sp. n. is described from Rajasthan state of India. The monobasic Austro-oriental genus Dyothrips Kudô is formally synonymised with Haplothrips.
