Complete Genome Sequence of Bradyrhizobium ottawaense OO99T, an Efficient Nitrogen-Fixing Symbiont of Soybean.


ABSTRACT: We present the complete genome sequence of Bradyrhizobium ottawaense strain OO99T, a nitrogen-fixing bacterium from root nodules of soybean. The genome consists of a single 8.6-Mb chromosome and includes a symbiosis island. Genes involved in symbiotic nitrogen fixation, stress response, resistance to antibiotics, and toxic compounds were detected.
