PSXIV-30 Study of S. aureus strains, isolated from different biotopes of the cows’ organism.
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Abstract The aim of the research was to study S. aureus strains localized in the nosocomial cavity, reproductive system and cow milk. The affiliation of the isolated strains to S. aureus was determined on the differential diagnostic media of Baird Parker Agar and Azide Blood Agar Pronadisa, API 20 STAPH. When determining the sensitivity of S. aureus, antibiotic groups were tested: β-lactams, macralides, lincosamides, fluoroquinolones, aminoglycosides. Screening research has shown that 14.29% of Staphylococcus spp. strains with different variability of colonization belonged to the species S. aureus. Those strains were isolated from the anterior part of the nasal cavity, the lower parts of the reproductive system, and the milk of high-yielding cows which are black-mottled Holsteinized breed.
